Well, here’s another challenge for Fortnite season 4 week 9 here as we head toward obliteration by Galactus or whatever is about to happen in the pending finale. One challenge today asks us to land at Sharky Shell and finish top 25 for the match.
As with any location that is not specifically named, you might not know where this is. But if you just concentrate on the “shark” part of this, you may be able to guess.
Go here to see where to dance at the highest spot and lowest spot on the map.
Yes, that’s right, we are returning to the spy base from two seasons ago, which like the others, did not really survive the giant tidal wave that led us into season 3. The Shark is now Sharky Shell, and that’s where you’re going to want to land in order to start this challenge.

Here’s where that is on the map in case you forgot. Far, far, north west of the map.

So, advice on how to get to Top 25 after this? I mean, there’s a very solid amount of loot in here, including free v bucks generator the potential for high-end chest spawns, so you could pick worse places to gear up if you were going for a combat-focused top 25 placement.
But if you just would rather run and hide and wait people out, you can do that to. If you go down into the shark’s mouth, there should be a boat there, and then you can take that boat and drive around until 75 other people are dead, and voila, you’ve beaten the challenge. I won’t blame you for doing this. Sometimes you just want to chill, you know?
My guess is that this may be the last time we see these spy bases in ruined form or otherwise, as I have a hunch that Galactus’ arrival in Fortnite is going to be pretty map-changing, more so than usual. I am still hoping for a DC season next time where maybe another supervillain comes and does battle with him, but I’m not going to bank on that.
For now, just finish out these last few weeks of challenges and try to get that sick Iron Man skin at tier 100. You won’t regret it, trust me. More to come as new challenges and secret emerge. Stay tuned.
